Morning: Breakfast at the lodge/hotel
9:00am: Depart for Arusha National Park for morning walk in the park with armed park ranger (with picnic lunch)
Afternoon: Canoeing in the park
Arusha National Park is close to the famous “safari town” of Arusha (29 km), as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport. The Park is one of the most beautiful and topographically varied game reserves in Tanzania, with a rich variety of wildlife, including giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingo, elephant, lion and many others. Birdlife is also prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here than in other places.
Evening: Dinner and overnight at a lodge/hotel in Arusha/Moshi.
9:00am: Pick up from Arusha/Moshi and drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch
Tarangire is home to some 300 herds of elephants that scratch the dry river bed to tap into underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the lagoons as they shrink in the dry season. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem – a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and the peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed.
Late Morning: Game drive in the park, lunch at a picnic site in the park
Late Afternoon: Drive to Karatu area
Evening: Dinner and overnight at a lodge/tented camp FB
9:00am: After breakfast depart to mto wa mbu for a morning biking tour
Mto wa mbu is a small town with cultural diversity of over 120 ethnic group growing various banana species in the area. The biking tour will take you to visit the village and see the plantations, banana bear brewing and visit a few local shops in the area.
Lunch: Hot lunch at a local restaurant at Mto wa mbu
Afternoon: Game drive at Lake Manyara National park
Lake Manyara National Park provides a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been observed, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks.
Late afternoon: Drive to Karatu area for dinner and overnight at a lodge
9:00am: After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro forest highland walk for about 3 hours, on the way will visit endoro water falls, see baboons, elephants and various birds .The trail will take you to caves which were made by elephant using their tusk while searching minerals in the soil.
Midday: Ruturn to the lodge for hot lunch
Afternoon: Leisure at the lodge or visit a small town of karutu and lucky on market day will get to see how the local people trading their handcrafts, livestock, food, clothing and household goods.

8:00am: After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro conservation area with picnic lunch for a half day crater tour
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans vast expanses of highland plains, savanna, savanna woodlands and forests. Established in 1959 as a multiple land-use area, with wildlife coexisting with semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists practicing traditional livestock grazing, it includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera.
Midday: Picnic lunch at the crater floor
Afternoon: Ascend from the crater floor and drive towards Empakai crater
Empakaai Crater is about 8km in diameter, and holds a beautiful; round lake that occupies nearly half its floor. The lake draws flamingos and other water birds and is surrounded by steep-sided, forested cliffs at least 300m high. When flamingos are there, from the rim it looks like pink beaches around the lake.
Evening: Dinner and overnight at a campsite at the rim of Empakai crater. FB
8:00am: After breakfast at the camp, with Ngorongoro ranger and a maasai guide hike into empakai crater, here plenty of flamingo at the bottom of the crater can be seen and other birds,, the Empakai crater walk may take 2 -3 hrs , then proceed with the trekking toward acacia camp .The walk is through hills and maasai communities on the way grazing their animals. The walk may take 4-5 hrs to acacia camp.
Midday: Picnic lunch
Evening: Dinner and overnight at a camp at acacia campsite. FB
8:00am: After breakfast at the camp, walk through dry land in a vast highland through rift valley escarpments, get to see Oldonyo Lengai mount from a short distance then reach to Lake Natron
Lake Natron is a mineral-rich soda lake in northern Tanzania, at the border with Kenya. It’s a breeding ground for hundreds of thousands of lesser flamingos, despite the highly alkaline state of the striking red waters. It sits below Ol Doinyo Lengai, a soaring active volcano in the Rift Valley.
The walk will takes 3 -4 hrs . check in into a tented camp at lake Natron for a hot shower and a hot meal with a cold drink Afternoon at Leisure
Evening: Meals and overnight at a tented camp FB
9:00am: After breakfast, take a walk along lake natron where we see flamingos and other bird species , then walk to a small town of Engaresero and see how Maasai live in this unique land. Time allows visit a local school in the area, and then back to the tented camp
Midday: Hot lunch at the camp
Late Afternoon: Take a walk to waterfall and here we get to swim in a natural swimming pool at the base of the waterfall, its indeed a refreshing moments after a hot day.
Evening: Meals and overnight at a tented camp FB
6:00am: Depart early for a maasai boma visit , here will be early enough to how Maasai start their day by milking their cows before they are taken for grazing. Also will experience how Maasai families are attached to their cattles.
Return to the Tented camp for breakfast, check out and drive to Arusha Town with picnic lunch
Evening: Meals and overnight at hotel in Arusha HB
09:00: After breakfast, your driver will take you to Arusha town for city tour, for a visit to marketplace or places to buy locally-made products or visit artists making products
Midday: Lunch in a restaurant in town (own account)
Afternoon: Return to the hotel for shower before heading to the airport for your flight ownwards
